Pulled Pork Nachos

Updated: Apr 8, 2023

What do you do with your leftover pulled pork? I got an idea that will tickle your fancy and knock your tastebuds right back into the presence with pulled pork nachos. You can use the store bought Nachos or if you feeling innovative make your own homemade nachos. Pull out all those favorite toppings like guacamole, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, cheese, cilantro, black olives, jalapeno peppers. It's time to stack those layers and build flavor along the way. You want to ensure every bite is packed with a burst of umami flavor.

Building Pulled Pork Nachos

When you build your pulled pork nachos, always start with a good base of nachos, you can make your own homemade tortilla or a bag of store bought works too, next a layer of cheese so the nachos doesn't get soggy from the pulled pork juices. Pile on another layer of nachos, cheese, and pulled pork. If you like your cheese melted, into the oven it goes to melt down the cheese or you can make your own cheese sauce. Top with Pico de Gallo, chopped tomatoes, Cilantro, jalapeno peppers, black olives, guacamole, and sour cream. I usually do not melt my cheese, I like to sprinkle throughout and the only ingredient warm is the pulled pork.
